The Ominous New Year's Resolution

Well, it's day 7 of the new year and I've already back tracked on some of my resolutions. That's ok, though, because I'm still making all of those goals/ resolutions for the year. There is a reason that we make resolutions for a year. It's because major goals don't happen over night. It takes hard work to change a habit or begin living a new lifestyle.
The reason that so many people think that resolutions are set up to make you fail is because we have this idea that we have to immediately change over night as soon as January 1st comes around. January 1st is just a marker for when you started to get your shit together. It's not the day that you are magically transformed into this new person overnight. If it were that easy, it wouldn't be a new YEAR'S resolution.
That's the key word: year. You could do a lot in one year's time. So, think big. What do you want to accomplish this year? Make it something that might take you a whole year to do. Make it something you can be proud of. Make it something meaningful.
You will probably back track dozens of times throughout the process. It's expected. If you don't slip up here and there, then you are a robot.
Best of luck to your new year!
I hope it's fucking incredible!

xoxo
Tania
